Why my traffic goes down?

    Hello DP Members,

My site traffic was increasing day by day till January 21, that time I had 51,595 visitors in a day and suddenly the traffic has gone down from January 22 and now I have only 12,000 visitors in a day, which almost showed 76% drop in traffic. I didn't make any changes even no new posts were added and still i got such a big drop which is not understandable to me why ? Even in my webmaster tool account there is no error and no warning.

What is the real reason for this? Please tell me.

    Thanking you in advance.

In my opinion, if visitors on your site had been increasing regularly till a point and afterwards the number suddenly dropped down, it must be because you have stopped adding and updating useful and informative content. (Your problem itself contains the solution.) People flock to sites on which they constantly find new and interesting stuff.
Anyways, what does your website deal with? If you can tell, I might be able to answer better.
As you analyze the causes for sudden decline of your website's visitor count, focus equally on getting more traffic. The threads below discuss ways to boost it. You will find them very helpful.

To have a fully functioning and successful website, you need to make sure your tags are in place and your links are not broken. You also need to submit a sitemap.xml file to Google to have your website show up in Google's search engines. There is a tool that inspects websites just in case you missed tags and links and it creates a free sitemap.xml file. It gives you results in minutes. Another method is to buy website traffic from the websites like SEOclerks, as you can hire an expert from this site which can help you in providing website traffic at a cheap rate.

If your traffic drop was in referral traffic, drill down to see what site(s) stopped sending you lovely customers. If it’s a drop in social, or direct traffic–you can figure that out without my help. Use some web analytics tools to analyze your traffic. Gd Luck

    1st solution:
You can go to Google Webmaster tools and in that section go to Search Traffic >> Search Analytics. Where you can see queries for which your website was seen in SERP and you recieved clicks. So due to it you can change keyword in your website if you want to and add that keywords in that website. Next time you do Off-page optimisation based on that words.

    2nd solution:
Refer Google analytics >> Aquisition >> Overview. where you get analysis of traffic from,
    1) [IMG]Social
    2) [IMG]Direct
    3) [IMG]Organic Search
    [IMG]4) Referral

It may also happen when you are focusing on particular keywords and result is not seen and website is ranking for other keywords.

I hope this will definitly help you.

I had the same issue with Web Push. From the begining all was great I have a excellent experience of users and views after 1 month with their Push, my traffic was down day by day. all the ad networks that I tried before I have never had an issue with the traffic value, and I have never going to used it again!
