"apple" / "mac" domain names

    Hi,

I am going to create a blog site about mac tips and news. Will I get into trouble if I use "apple" or "mac" word in my domain name?

I read Apple copyright and trademark guidelines. Is it okay to use "apple" or "mac" domain name if I have "Proper Trademark Notice and Attribution" on the website?

    Thank you.

Nice site. ;) How long does the site running?
I don't think Apple knows the website, anyway.

.. because it is not big enough to ATTRACT traffics or Apple itself. But let it grow BIG & you'll surely get into trouble. That's my opinion. Bashing a company like that is a no - no.

Anyway, I don't not think you'll have trouble with a domain name that supports the company like:

    mac-wow.com
    mac-love-it.com

and so on ...but when using domain names like this .. you never know, especially when Steve Jobs is the person in charge of the company. :)

This has been discussed in the Legal section before, you may want to look over there for similar posts. I have listed a few good place to start :-
