Really, fletch? So then you might be motivated to ask guerilla why, if he is supposedly a "republican," has he been sourcing one of the internet's bastion of liberal hatred towards America, to make his points?

Does this mean that the "new breed" of "supposed" republicans (you know; the one's that attack republicans at every opportunity, refers to them as "neocons" (code word for Jews) like their candidate does, and defends democrats/liberals at every opportunity) probably should shy away from sourcing huffpo in the future?

I mean, is "huffpo" being biased NOW, since they've illustrated that the only candidate retained by the firm responsible, is Ron Paul?

I started this thread, not because I believe "huffpo," but because guerilla, bryant, grim and a few other ron paul supporters (as illustrated in the links above) have all used it as an authentic source to bolster their support for Ron Paul, OR, to attack other candidates. I wanted to watch the hypocrisy in action and they have NOT failed me!

So the question is, will these liberals, who masquerade as republicans and use the cesspool of liberal media outlets, continue to use "huffpo" now, that they have exposed your candidate? Why were they a valid source before, but suddenly they are "smearing" YOUR candidate?

I find it a very illuminating conundrum, one that brings a smile :)

Guys, I have to head out and do some shopping. Because America sucks so bad and the economy is doomed and the cost of living is horrible and we have no freedoms left, I'll be taking my papers, stopping at the check points to present my papers to the new world order and of course, I've clipped some coupons so I can save .20 cents on that pack of butter!

If my truck doesn't die and my home doesn't burn down, and I'm not shot by Jews with red arm bands patrolling the streets, I'll be back later to exercise the freedom of speech I have here, but supposedly don't have, because the Patriot Act took it away from me. Hmm, should I stop by the library and pick up a book about how to make a bomb? Nah, I'll pass. I'm not "that" kind of American :)

    Doom and gloom!

I have not questioned the source at all. In fact, I think Huffington Post is pretty good. News sources are not a hive mind, and that's why you see good and bad reporters in every news source. Notice I'm not attacking the source of the OP, but rather the merit.

What exactly does this prove? This seems to be less about the actual story here (or lack thereof), and more of a springboard to let you go on a tirade about HuffPo and Paul supporters. I'm trying to keep it on topic, and you are hopelessly attempting to steer it away from the exact thing you started this thread about. So again, what exact correlation are you seeing here? There is nothing. My pretzel analogy is about as ridiculous as what you're suggesting here; maybe that's why you're steering this thread in a new direction.

I don't care if you are liberal or conservative. Arianna Huffington is hot. And they have a lot of kickass guest writers.

Sure it is a liberal stronghold. GTECH voted for Clinton for crissakes.

Do a search for Gtechs posts on NYT

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=145969&highlight=nyt#post145969 Here of course when the NYT has an article that goes with his side of things he uses it.

Of course here he also appears to be ok with the NYT

GTech is one of the only members on the board who understands the threat to America today and has the solution to this threat.
You all stay blind,Islam IS taking over.
Europe will go first,North America the Second the rest of Western Society third.
Whats ironic is,because you lot are too blind to even recognize such a threat, there going to take over under our noses and without us fighting.

So invading a country like Iraq that had nothing to do with it, creating more terrorists was a wise decision?

Putting in place a government with a constitution based on ISLAM, yeah sounds like a real logical approach.

Please stop with all the anti islam BULL. We have allready gone through all of your propaganda and proved you and him wrong. We wont have our foreign policy hijacked by people that support other countries before they support america first. Save it for someone that believes in fairy tales. Your kind of thinking has actually helped to spread the growth of islamic fundamentalists in iraq which is now a hotbed of crazies blowing themselves up to kill the soldiers which you say you support. Who is the first nation you support? Is it america or is it another nation?

America's current foreign policy, puts American soldiers' lives at risk, and it puts civilian lives at risk by providing recruitment inspiration for Al Queda.

After 9/11, people around the world held vigils and said, "We are American".

Today, all of that goodwill, the goodwill Reagan created, and the goodwill of Kennedy (ie. "Ich bin ein Berliner"), has been destroyed. Anti-Americanism is running at an all time high, not just in Islamic countries, but in Asia and the West as well.

This is not a desirable outcome.
