How can i improve my CTR in adsense

Hello guys,
Currently my ctr is pretty low (below 5%) and i have ads placed in best position in my view but your opinions needed to me.

Any Suggestions.

Hi,

If your CTR is low use some CPM network if you have medium to high traffic, I don't recommend CPM on low traffic sites.

Define 'some' CPM network and what exactly IS 'medium to high'.

I have a site with a whopping 0% CTR for the last 2 weeks.

 

1-5% ctr in adsense is ok , you do not have to worry , keep changing ads location for one week in your website you will sure find the best location by changing ads placement again and again

 

Your ctr is not too bad, but with this topic of watching cricket live you'll get into problem since they are probably copyrighted.

 

my suggestion to you:

1) add more ads
2)blend the colour of your ads with your site pages

finally:
3) promote your link with THIS!

 

Low CTR could not only attributed to ads placement. It can also be attributed to the source of your traffic. If your traffic comes from social media sites, then you will have a very low conversion. But if most of the traffic comes from the SERPs, then it's the ad placement is the culprit. You should experiment with the best location for your ads and take note of the location that can give you the highest CTR. Experiment also with the ads format, this could also a factor.

 

People use to make about 100$ for 50 clicks but here the story is totally different.
I got 54 click and guess how much i earned?
20$ no where near it..
10$ seems to be difficult..
and you finally guessed right in the its below 5$ and exactly 4.61$.

1. Whats wrong with my adsense earnings?

I feel, for 54 clicks its reasonable CPC, my most of sites gets 1-2 cents per click...

 

It depends on the niche you are working in, clearly cricket niches don't play alot of money compared to others such as real estate.

Some people in certain niches get $10+ clicks regularly; however, it is probably extremely difficult to get those clicks.

 

yeaa your site is actually REALLY nice adsense optimized theme.. especially the links in the nav bar like that.. a big element is not only the CPC but also where the traffic is coming home.. some of my clicks are $3+ PER click.. but those clicks come locally from Toronto, Canada and are in a good niche but nothing too crazy

I would say you are making good money as per the niche is concerned so don't make any changes stick with what you are doing and increase your traffic and content more clicks more money. You can also try a combination of both CPC and CPM so it will make you more money.

54 clicks yielding $4.61 seems good and each click fetching about 9 cents approximately. It all depends on the niche and the source of traffic. It is well known that cricket is not a high paying niche and most of the traffic and clicks originate from cricket crazy Asian countries which is again not high paying.

Most of these claims are not true but there are some good earners but they won't come out and tell you that they are earning so much.

If you are interested in boosting your earning, try to increase the traffic and ctr.

 

All you need to do is create 100 more sites, and you will be earning enough to pay the rent !

 

it is not copyrighted.. and i dont actually own the live streaming telecast on my site.
It is run by some other company and they share embed code with us and make profit with ads displayed on stream

 

Today my ctr was about 10% and now my total no. of clicks are 74 but earnings are still not upto what i want.
My Earning reached 5.13 $.

Is that still good enough?

 

But do they have adsense on their site?
Perhaps they don't have adsense because their account would be disabled if they did.
Also, it's not because you don't host the video/streams that you can display them on your site with adsense.
Anyway, I say that, I say nothing, it's not my problem, I'm just informing you because I've read people complain their adsense has been banned because of live sport streaming sites, that's it.
