Does Google shut down people with multiple Blogger accounts?

Are multiple Blogger accounts permitted by Google?

Call me paranoid, but I feel we should know what will and will not PO Google.

Anyone ever had Blogger accounts shut down? If so, what was the reason?

Will they shut you down for having too many?

As long as you are not abusing them I see no reason why they would shut you down.

agreed with above.. i have not actually bothered to read the Blogger TOS, but i have 2 accounts and i cant fathom why they would not like that as long as you dont abuse the service in anyway.
If you had multiple spammer blogs I would think they would frown upon that..

It is my theory that you should create one Blogger for every site you have.

Now if you have 20 sites, you would need 20 Blogger accounts.

I fear that Google may frown upon this.

Even more, I fear Google may ban your domain from their search results as punishment for using Blogger as a tool to increase PR.

But like I said, I'm paranoid.

I don't think so that multiple blogger accounts can
    be shut down by google.

You posts does not concern by Google but may be by Blogger.com. Google and Blogger aren't the same company... so If you did something wrong with one the other company will not punish you.

Yes Google and Blogger are the same company. Glad to see you're up to date on the industry. I'm a semi-noob (on SEO) and I knew this long ago.

I have over a dozen accounts for a variety of reasons; all my blogs run perfectly. And yes there is something called Blogger support too that actually works. One time one of my very nice blog was deleted by Blogger and when I wrote to them, it took them a few days but they said that their filter blacklisted my blog by mistake, they looked at my blog and whitelisted it. No problem after that.

Blogger WILL take action against multiple SPAM blogs.

Blogger don't give a rat's ass if you have multiple blogs. I have several blogs and have had for, well, since blogger was bought by Google. They positively encourage you to create new blogs.

The difference between multiple blogs and multiple spam blogs should be obvious. The spam ones are designed to artificially inflate backlinks to other sites. The normal blogs don't.

If you plan on using automated updating (scraping) as content, your blogs days are numbered.

Since you are talking about 20 accounts, I can only guess you are hoping to make some or all of them the spam variety. You will find that increasingly more difficult with the introduction of beta.blogger.com.

Personally, I couldn't be bothered trying to keep on top of 20 individual accounts. I'd rather have a couple of decent legitimate blogs that carried some link power rather than a bunch of spam blogs that could be deleted at any given moment.

However, each to his own, and certainly spamming blogger is nothing new and has been used to great effect by more than a few individuals.
