Hi, Please help me if anyone knows about this. I had more than 20 blogs in my account at blogger.com. All of them were on relevent topics and were updated weekly 2-3times. Just a while back I logged into my account. To my shock I dint find any of my blogs. Nothing at all. Can you please let me know if blogger.com can delete my blogs without informing me? Cos I am 100% sure not even one of my blog was a spam blog. Please help me. Thanks
Yes, they legally have the right to terminate any account without notice, but you should write and ask them for the specific reason. http://www.blogger.com/terms.g
But check this: ---------- http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=1031&topic=13 What are the limits on my Blogger account? We try to give you a lot of room to play here on Blogger, so you'll see that a lot of the important "limits" here aren't really very limiting. But just in case you were wondering, here is some information about about what a single Blogger account will hold. Number of Blogs: You can have as many blogs as you like on one account. ---------
If you were pulling the data in via an automated process, then that would get your 200 non-spam blogs zapped, imho.
All auto updated? To me anyone who has 200 blogs hosted on blogger is using them for "spam" purposes. I would imagine Google would share that opinion.
He implied he updates them all a few times a week...that is about 30-50 posts a day...doing it full time it could be done... He also said that blogger deleted his blogs, not google.
What would be the purpose behind it? Spam is the only reason that comes to mind. There's no legit reason that I can think of that one person needs 200 blogs - especially if they were being hosted on blogger. Google owns blogger
If Leonardi DaVinci had 200 blogs I'm sure they would all be fascinating. But of course the Sistine Chapel would be painted in off-white semigloss. If Steven King had 200 blogs, would one taken at random be more interesting than average? I'm just arguing the extreme case. BTW the OP said over 20 blogs, not 200. Still with everything else I do, the 3 blogger sites I have are pretty neglected, and a high number of multiple sites are probably used as link feeders.
It said 200 when I replied - the opening post has been edited If it's only 20 the whole story is a little more interesting. Of course the one thing that could help answer the question of spam, the blogs themselves, are something we'll most likely never get to see.
I dint see that.. it was mistake.. was tensed about the whole situation.. but is there a way to get them back>?
Sorry, I don't know if there is. You could try emailing Blogger to ask if it's possible but other than that, there's nothing I can think of ... unless you can find the blogs in the Google cache using the urls and frantically copy and paste before the cache gets flushed.
I had 10 blogger blogs cancelled in the last two days, appears they were on to me. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM SPAMMMMMMMMMMM
Isn't there some option where someone can report someone else's blogger profile? Maybe someone reported you. But then again, if you did nothing wrong, you should contact them and ask for an explanation why your blogs have disappeared.
