I have tried a few different things but this seems to have worked the best. I am currently receiving a 1.4% CTR on the ads and .52% CTR on the link units over the last week. The site is now doing about $10-$15 per day but of course I would like to see it make more. I am open to any and all ideas. The site is: http://www.einvesting.com Thanks, -JRW
read G adsense help - all the pages available accept G advise and use G recommended/published 3 successful formats instead of your own choice of formats make ur pages more friendly in your color choice
I would try moving those adsense ads above the fold preferable in the first white box. Not only that I would see if two large rectangles fit side by side in that box. Just my .02. Good Luck
"I am currently receiving a 1.4% CTR on the ads and .52% CTR on the link units over the last week." Yesterday I had a 2.21% CTR on the ads and .28% CTR on the link units. The site made $19 yesterday. -JRW
Im not sue what you mean by "first white box". I know I could do two large boxes, but that would more the content of the site down a bit more. The site is a game type site and I don't want the ads to take away from the game.... its a bit of a balancing act! This is the reason I asked for some suggesting on this type of site. Thanks for the ideas so far, -JRW
Personally,Your adsense placement doesn't inspired me! Do not place all your adsense ad-units so near to each other.Instead i would try to use them as near to content as possible to kill the spammy look which 3 adunits at once give!
Now, I agree with you 100%... but I am making the most off of this placement. I like the larger squares, but then the content will be moved down further. This is my major delema. 1) Larger squares - content goes futher down 2) Lots of small squares - looks spammy 3) Other placement - not as many click... less $$ -JRW
it is obvious that you never took the time to actually read Google's pages on successful formats and the placement ATF seems to be unknown as well ... the difference between your way and G recommended way may well be factor 5 or more there have been recently extensive threads on this subject - you my want to read$ http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=228283 and other similar threads first http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=233875 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=231312
