Email from Google - custom placement packs program

I need a bit of insight from the experts. I received the following email from Google:

So, have any of you received an email like this? Is it worth changing my ads on that one site to the size they require?

A lot of people rcvd that e-mail - i didn't, but i did change to that size and saw very nice earning on it for 3 days. Today my earnings are garbage, but it's worth a shot! From what I have read on the board that size is suited for video ads i believe.

It basically means that your site would be included in larger "media buys". Go for it!

 

Yea I receive that email last week for one of my forums. I did what they asked and haven't really noticed a difference...yet.

Thanks, I did a few searches for it prior to posting, I didn't run across anything, thanks for the link. I guess I will give it a try, couldn't really hurt, I could always switch back.
