Some sick evil bastard delete 48 of my blogs - all my blogs. What is truly sickening it that most of the blogs were not for profit but for fun and the general education of the internet community. Particularly the recipe blogs, the blog on early Auckland History and the blog on the second world war which was dedicated to my Great Uncle Ivan who died in the North African Campaign. Which sick twisted mind would delete a blog dedicated to a dead Anzac - truly you are a sub-human being. However I am not the type of person to just take this lying down. I will rebuild. Most of the blogs will come better and be even better.
that's bad, where have you hosted those blogs, blogspot? sure, you will build those again, cheers! time to take some backups
they were hosted on blogger. I presume someone must have got my password to my blogger account. Spent the morning changing all my internet passwords. They were just in the process of getting rid of my gmail account because I could log into that but opened the dashboard and not a single blog, shortly thereafter my gmail account was stuffed as well. I've have the HTML codes for a couple and I been going through the cache google pages which give me a snapshot of what was there. I can copy and paste the words over but I have to reload all the photos very time consuming. I got my random-rabble blog back up I wonder if someone was taking offence to me asking to downline a free ebook - burn a hole in a guru's wallet - I mean I wasn't serious It was suppose to be tongue in cheek - why do this ? Really sick!
dude you deserved it sorta, im sure this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=337995 contributed to the fact they got deleted tremendously
Sorry to hear that, especially when it is about general interest. It happens to many times everywhere. So they logged in and tried to mess up with your gmail account. Contact Google about this, they may have the logs about it. They sure will look after it.
Are you sure that the sick bastard who deleted them wasn't Blogger? I hear that they've started getting strict on the blogs they host and have begun deleting any that look overtly spammy. I'm suspecting, if you have 48 Blogspots, some of them might have appeared spammy!
I have read similar threads earlier on DP. Many people with multiple blogs do face this problem...especially if the blogs are interlinked. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=111156 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=78461 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=31952
yes this happns many times with blogger blogs.Try not to make network and interink all of them. Also try to use differetn emails ids and profiles rather then all in one
Sorryb to hear about your misfortune. It's a good lesson for all of us. never let anyone know our password.
It could be blogspot has deleted them, I suggest moving over to wordpress and using a something to make backups. I got hacked about a week ago,. and now I back up EVERYTHING daily!
Mate they could of FLAMED me - they could have called me a dickhead, but to destroy hundreds of hours of work is a low act - such a person is not a human being - if it was a competitor I could understand but I would be lucky to get one click a week off them - most of them were for general knowledge only not profit - the one of early auckland history took a week to do as it was researched to a university standard with me going to heaps of 1860-1880's newspapers - I didn't to it for me but for a sense of history and out of respect for my ancestors who helped to build the damn city. If they had taken the time to read any of them they would not have spit in the face of a dead ANZAC - THESE people are dicks - if they were unhappy with a post - personal message me - abused me, whatever - but destroying hours of work is a CRIME - they better not hope I discover who is was
