Hello there, kindly tell me which one is the best anti-virus software out there? I have used avast, AVG, quickheal etc in the past. But not sure if they provide the best protection. Kindly enlighten me. I need one urgently before some virus infects my system.

    Thanks!

Yeah just purchased my license for kaspersky internet security 2009, im sure it is the best.
specially i liked their new "virtual keyboard" for security against keyloggers, for your netbanking & confidential logins.

I swear by ESET Nod32. Takes a while to get used to the UI. But as far as comprehensive solutions at minimal system drain are concerened I'd always go with NOD32.
My Second option would be Kaspersky

Hi Ves, could you tell me why you say Kaspersky is the best? I got McAfee Total Protection for now but not 101 percent satisfied. When I scanned my computer it found 2 files infected with trojan and instead of deleting it, McAfee just quarantined them and there was no option for me if I wanted to delete them so I am really disappointed.

    Thanks for your kind reply.

There is no such things as "best of" maybe better :D
You can try free versions like avast, avira etc.
Dont forget to update your windows.

I have been a fan of Kaspersky as well....But could not renew the subscription when it ended six months back. :(

Right now, I am on AVG free version which along with ZoneAlarm firewall is doing the job efficiently for me...

    Regards,

I'm using kaspersky from 3 years... I have personally experimented with many other antivrus software and found out kaspersky works best for me...

I'm currently using kaspersky internet security 2009...

It is pretter cheaper too... I brought KIS 09 , 3user licence for 15$
