AVG as well, but in tandem with a few others like adaware, spybot etc. You can use a program called Hitman to run them all for you automatically instead of having to do it one at a time.

I have been using free anti virus before have encountered problems with. I have reformatted thrice already since viruses get inside without me knowing it and once in the system, I could not remove it. Now, I am using McAfee, its not free but I rather have it done have problems later on. My files are very important since I conduct lectures using my files.

Ewww Norton?? No you didn't! If you DID use Norton, you would see it uses up A LOT of resources on your computer!

Norton is good one, but it is more resource intensive. So I use AVG FREE.
