I know RULES are rules, I have been here since 2006, I just want to "vent" and say. We all SAY we are for "internet freedom" and then rules come out like this, Oh the IRONY https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/allowed-or-not-quick-reference.1112065/ Stumbles / Diggs / Social Bookmarking / Social Networking Allowed: none Not allowed: No buying or selling of services; no exchanges; no freebies. (This also includes microblogging services like Twitter, Tumblr, Spoink, etc. or any other social network) No Twitter friend following, tweets, blasts, friend adding, bots, profile creation, etc. No Facebook announcements, fan pages, groups, etc. No Youtube comments, etc. No Xrumer or any other "blasting" services. No Myspace bulletins, announcements, etc. No Yahoo answers. I remember when DP got banned from STUMBLE and I am SURE twitter ETC has been a douche .... BUT - PERSONALLY ( AND this is just my opinion ) THINK ITS FUNNY AS HELL - That you CANNOT use A SOCIAL PLATFORM to promote SOCIAL media ! LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL SORRY THIS kinda thing makes me laugh my balls off UGH! OKAY - I am done
You still have the freedom to go elsewhere and with freedom comes responsibilities - people abusing those social media sites (which are free too) change them for everyone - or atleast that's the way we see it.
Hey Listen, This WAS NOT directed at Shawn, so be COOL with the "freedom to go anywhere else" ZUCKERBURG - Stole and uploaded thousands of photos, is how he got his start......lets be real here, I was just saying "In General" its funny, Technically one, could say "not pruning old forum threads" would be abuse of social media......lol BTW - You CANNOT ABUSE social media .....LOL IF that was TRUE - PEPSI - DOMINOS Pizza - Well they are GUILTY as charged LOL That is like telling me I do not have the right to post on the internet, BTW Way, I always think its FUNNY - HOW once a company gets BIG then the rules start in LOL <3 U
You posted in support and feedback so... and I wasn't meaning bugger off, just that within the scope of the internet you can find pretty much anything, it's all wide open so long as you have a government that doesn't limit what you can see.
Thats true anywhere , before you reach a stage , you will be begging at people & looking for all available opportunities / resources to bring in traffic , but once you reach a stage where you can't handle the incoming traffic & start monetizing , then you put on rules / regulations / restrictions to control them , this is obvious & even you would do the same if you or your business grows beyond your capability. PLEASE BE AWARE -> Dams are built not only to store water for future purpose , it is also built to PREVENT FLOOD
