Why this thread has been moved into announcements forums?

This thread says about Bigoole and I am not asking for submissions but it has been moved to Announcements forums why?

Can anybody give me some clear explanations as I have clearly stated that
The bot is indexing urls so there is no need for me to ask for submissions.


Instead I was asking for Suggestions to improve my directory


The Bigoole was created mainly due to suggestions and discussions in this thread

So I consider that Directories section is an appropriate place for discussing about it rather than in announcements forum as I did not ask for directory submissions

I hope Shawn and moderators would look into this matter!

I'm going to guess that it was moved because it is an announcement:

an·nounce·ment

1. The act of making known publicly.
2. Something announced.
3. A broadcast message, especially a program note or commercial.

 

But I posted there as I was asking for suggestions only


And also announcements forum is only for annoucing different directories and offers

But my thread was different from those?

I suspect some foul play by some members (not moderators)

 

I'm sure if you take just a moment you'll see that your thread is actually an announcement. I'm sure that the forum the thread was moved to is for both Annoncements and Solicitations, of which yours is the former?

You're not discussing directories in general, you're making an announcement regarding your own.

I can't agree with you that it is an announcement

I think mine is some what different from others so only I posted it there

Also members who did not read the post fully took it as site asking for submission

I want to people to review my directory as directory is largely different from a site!

 

Oh than it should go to reviews section not even in directory section, cause websites review go to review sections.
Maybe some mod will move it to review section for thats what you say it was about.

 

You clearly stated in your post that bigoole crossed xxxx links and I guess, this thing comes in announcement

 

I have always some issues with MODS regarding this Bigoole as it is a innovative one ?

If it was ordinary directory then there is no point in asking here

Its different from others so only I asked here

I think we need some more good guidelines (even though there is a one)

I always say directory review is different from site reveiws

since directory is a collection of websites whereas a website simply caters to one area!
