    But you rotate them.

If I'm right, Shoemoney has a great free script for this..

lol... I doubt that. I think any money shoemoney makes goes to charity (well from his blog atleast)

    Heres the comparison:
    Adsense:
    - Much better Click through rate, so more money with clicks, because very relavent ads.
    - Very large ad base, thus A LOT of ads, sometimes YPN lacks ads for your site.
    YPN:
    - Pays more per click, but less clicks. This is due to it being US only. Once it goes international it will pay A LOTTTTTT LESSSSSSSS... So you people in canada awaiting better money, don't wait, because it's gonna end up being less than adsense.
    - Not sure of this one: Once a person switches to YPN, they instantly get de-indexed (coincidence???)

I got an invite from Yahoo to join YPN the other day... then only to be told I can't join because it's US only. Bah!

Don't worry you wont be missing much. Adsense is fine, don't expect to get 10$ a click everytime with YPn.

This really sucks if it is true.

Any guys using YPN notice this, or is it just speculation.

I believe it was ShoeMoney's blog. I've heard from others too.

Supposedly you "coincidentally" drop in search-results once you switch to YPN. This may not be "on-purpose" perhaps, adsense helps rankings or something because you get crawled more because of the adsense script. Who knows...

I would really love to ask a Yahoo employee about it tho, bet they would find any proof if there is any.

This has already been established. Google pays 3 cents clicks and more.

Yahoo's smallest click ever is 10 cents but most I notice are 30 cents or $1 or $5+

I have over 40 sites, 75% of which switched from adsense to yahoo. There wasn't any noticible change other than normal flucuations. Generally, my rankings have increase with google since I added YPN, although I don't think there is anything to it.

Shoemoney also said: "I honestly do not believe that 1 thing had anything to do with the other but it is interesting."

"I talked to my rep at Google and she assured me that AdSense had nothing to do with Google search…. well whatever."

I have seen a big increase in Yahoo SERPS, but others saw the same thing on the same day so I don't think running YPN had anything to do with it as the adsense sites saw an increase too.

IMO, there is absolutely nothing to it.

Sometimes speculation is right. You never know! But just the fact that YPN doesnt target ads, and doesn't have enough ads, is enough to let you know how it can be a problem.

Yahoo DOES target ads, it's just that it doesn't always work. I find it works fairly well on 75% of my sites.

I agree - if the Yahoo search results have anything to go by the YPN will suck at getting income. I've given up on Yahoo, complete waste of time, and effort. Ranking '1 for all keywords but sucking at traffic from them!
