What's the best FREE PHP based Forum script??

I am looking for a forum script for one of my websites and want to know which is the best FREE PHP open source forum script?

    I came across the following:
    www.phpbb.com
    www.yabb.com

Any others?? Which would you recommend?? I would pretty much like to do almost everything DP forums do:
    1. The usual Forum stuff - Posts, threads etc.
    2. To be able to ban users
    3. To be able to ban IP addresses if possible
    4. User admin - different levels (Admin, guest user etc.)
    5. Stats would be good too
    6. Definitely need support

It would also be good to know what other DP Members use as I would probably go for the one that most users here use. At least getting support would be easy that way!! :D
    Thanks!

So far I have used phpBB,vBulletin and SMF.

SMF is my favorite because it is more close to vb, it is very fast, and very easy to modify.

Template modifying and the like, I would go with phpBB. It's very easy and very simple.

Security, as many have said either SMF or MyBB, though up to date phpBB can also be just as good.

Features, SMF or MyBB, unless your willing to dig into the code which then phpBB is good because of the vast amounts of mods for basically everything.

My vote would be for phpBB.

Yep. Couldnt agree more. SMF is the best. I used SMF for my online game clan. Very fast and useful for shared hosting.

SMF for me, there's a backdoor on phpBB which is prone to sql injections.
