What is wrong with this?

i wrote a blog post which i thought would help dp members, so I posted a thread about it on dp in this format

But the thread was deleted and i was given a five point infraction for spamming.
is this correcxt, i have seen more than 100's of threads on dp in the same format but nothing happened to their thread and they did not receive an infraction.

Thats not all, i thought that maybe i had done something worng, so this time i just posted the whole article here on dp, but i was given an infraction for creating a duplicate thread! What the! If the earlier thread was deleted cos it "supposedly" didn't follow guidelines, then how is this thread a duplicate thread

 

Copy / pasting content from other sources (including your blog) isn't adding value to the community. It's a post for the sole purpose of getting people to your blog, and yes, that's spam.
