i am going to read the artical but asking for +rep i dont think is allowed at DP. if the DP members find this helpful enough then DP members will give you +Rep.
not much of an article. And it's not very long. the 'magic' things he recommends are backlinsk, standards compliance, and 'relevent' content. In reality, 1. don't knock yourself out over standards - your site would have to be SERIOUSLY malformed to trip up a modern search engine, 2. backlinks are VERY important. 3. I think he actually meant 'unique' relevent content', because without the 'unique' bit, you won't start to rank.
unique content is key asset in my opinion because who is going to link back to you if your offering the same content as them or 100 other sites? overall the article was alright
you got the point there, nobody want to visit your site if it has the same content as others and spiders doesn't like it as well.
Be careful about asking for rep. There are a lot of members here who will oblige but they will give a red instead of a green I would advise editing your post if it isnt too late.
Yeah, i shouldn't have said that -too late to edit. I had a reason though My previous thread about "free do-follow" list of blogs received great appreciation, over 100 comments but noone repped, i understand but I just threw in "reps appreciated" later on the in thread, and received over 50 points! thought maybe, some of us need a reminder every now and then that's it, but I shouldn't have said that. My bad folks, hope you can understand. m3rC
when writing copy for your site, make a list of your keyword/keyphrases and make sure the are used proportionately throughout the copy. another tip i came across (small impact, but worthwhile) is to register your domain for 10 years instead or 1 or 2. last one... if you have several domains for a niche (interlinked) try to spread them over several servers/hosting companies, again a small but valuable strategy. your link popularity will be seen as more organic.
Sorry about that brother, we shifted web-hosts to a faster service and it's been a bit rough! Hopefully it's working now Excellent tips, especially number 3. If you interlink your own websites but have similar IPs - Google WILL punish you with a penalty
Nice read man, excellent work! i'm like in love with Alex and your website the content is just superb, how the hell do you come up with this kinda stuff guess my imagination just aint on the ball
The author of this article is 16 years old. HAHAHAHAH I didn't even read it. You really got to be careful about getting info on the internet. Don't get phyciatric advice from a 6 year old. hehehe
Sorry guys, copped a temp suspension ~ but I'm back here again! Hahaha, discrimination based upon age? You must be confined in a small box, where your not exposed to reality, because if you haven't noticed people younger than you, people younger than me have accomplished more than you will ever in your lifetime. Yeah, heard about the 9 year old Indian girl to get the Microsoft Certificate? Such a pity, that talent, skill or even determination by the younger generations get put down by people like you. I find it ironic that your running a website about God and belief, trust and purpose in life yet your coming in here saying these kinds of things. I don't know whether to view your comment as humorous or just plain pathetic? Maybe you can help me decide. Check it out now Thanks Manzo, appreciate your comments
Their may be some confusion here, first of all the only way to get a 'duplicate content penalty' is through having the same content on the same site. For proof look up Justin Brooke's SEO lies (he has a great video on his blog) and several others have found similar results, including me. Second, the most important factor for increasing traffic is link juice, yes you should have at least decent content, but quality links meaning high traffic sites with a link in a 600 word article (non article submission sites) with a good keyword anchor text will provide excellent increase in ranking. Hope this helps
Unique content is king, especially when it has lots of rich keywords you're trying to rank well for.. An article is like a blank canvas, internet marketers paint dollar signs on it lol...
