Tell me....what is the point of co-op other than users that see the ad and go to your site?

Per seo i dont see it as value because the links do not age becaus ehtey never stay the same

I dont mean to downgrade its value i use it and it does help me get a little more traffic, but woulnt it be more effective if the links were permanent?

Browse through the old posts(past couple months) here in the forum. We've discussed this to death. Link Vault is an alternative to give you permanent links-- I haven't used it, but others like it. http://www.linkvault.com/

If you use it and it costs you nothing and you have to ask that question then maybe it's not for you.

You see that part wrong. They might not age but they sure as hell help ranking.

I'm not as confident about that today as I was three days ago, in that time Google dropped a lot of links from some, not all of my sites, the most notable had 79 links on it according to Google but yesterday that number was reduced to two. About the only links I had on it were from the coop. Of course it might change again as Google seem to be yo-yo'ing around this week. My page count is going up and down as well.

Update.... today that site has 39 links and one more page, it appears Google is still yo-yo'ing around.

Coop is not the only one solution.

If you are looking something for the long run - check out BannerSHift Link Exchange Network.

    From that site:

The forum is dead and FAQ is weak. What makes you think this is the network to join for the "long run"?

http://www.sportsoutlaw.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1393 I made that post at my forum showing the members the strides we have made in traffic.

Where did that increase in traffic come from? Mainly from a long standing #1 ranking for one specific keyword, and now good rankings for a few keywords.

There is no way to know for sure how many links Google counts. Link:function is useless. Look at MSN and Yahoo BL's to get an Idea then take off 25% for the G-wait...lol
