am kinda wanna be online seller. Although i havent sold a nickle uptil now I've been starting various threads about that.. like this e,g say if i signup with http://www.worldwidebrands.com/ or http://www.inventorysource.com/ 1) find a reliable dropshipper for say; pet food etc or cellphones; 2) start my site etc etc say, i do all this. Now if i want to make somewhat around 400.. 500 bucks per month outa that. how much would i need to invest for the promotion? are their any companies which provide such kinda service i mean advertising which result in conversions? How you started your site? how much you spent at the start up? which particular services you found interesting and good? and how your business stand nowadays? I dont wanna know your exact stats n all.. just want to be on a straight line to be succeeded. Thnx in advance !
The best way I've found to find a drop shipper is to go to a wholesaler for the products that you are interested in and see if they offer dropshipping services. Just about every retail product niche has a number of wholesalers that sell to retailers. There are a ton of all inclusive drop shippers, but I've never seen a legitimate one with prices that are low enough to compete with. However, with all this in mind, if you're only after 400 - $500 per month, then it may be very difficult to find a wholesaler to take you seriously. I would say that most want to see their retailers doing some decent volume for it to be worth their time. Something like $50,000 per month is sales is a good target, and I think it is reasonable achievable as long as the niche that you're going after isn't super saturated. Don't try to enter the market of computer products or something similar, there's just no reasonable way to be competitive.
I started my dropshipping biz when the economic is booming and i see there is a huge demand for the particular product.My niche is about weight loss.Yes in fact during recession time,my product still selling like hot cake.

where u from? The only thing that is kinda hurting me before really stepping into dropshipping is how much minimum i need to invest in first 2.. 3 months or so. If i get to know something about experienced guys that how they started up, i can follow them to be successful. But it seems nobody willing to share coz of something which is called as professional jealousy. lol
I am from the USA. What do you need to know? Nobody is going to let you follow them to make you successful as then you will be the competition. You have to be honest with yourself about your finances. Only you know how much you can invest in your business.
well i dont want guys to give me their bank statements.. all i need the minimum i need to (i know how much maximum i CAN) invest in the first few months or so.
