The website overall (the layout anyway) isn't too bad accept for the Ad Placement. Your ads don't really stand out much. What I usually do (depending on the kind of AdSense site I'm making) is create a black background website and I modify the AdSense ads to have a White Border, White Titles, Light Grey Text, Light Blue URL. I'm still testing different things out with different backgrounds and different colors, but this seems to work very well because of the high contrast and it just draws attention I guess. As for the clicks issue: You're going to have this. AdSense clicks can earn you from anywhere from 1-2$ per click to only .02$ per click, it all depends on the keywords and ads placed on your website. I don't really like to question the system as it works in very mysterious ways.
Is ad placement is relevant at this case? I get enough clicks on my ads, so I guess the placment is good. Can the placement effect also about how much will get from each click?
