Hi, After reading Travis Sago's BUM Marketing method, he recommends using usfreeads to get some exposure. Just wondering if you would recommend it because I never hear about it around this forum and I'm a bit concerned that what I am reading is a bit out of date. Thanks for your help!
I signed up for a gold account which sounded like a heck of a deal for $10. When I went to put an ad on, it was going to be about 10 pages from the beginning and a little bitty ad. I didn't even waste my time. The free ones are even worse. The premium is the only way to go if you can justify the cost. I'm thinking about it. donrock
Oh really? Hmm, I am just starting out and would like to test the free methods first so if the gold membership doesn't even do any good than I might give this one a miss. Thanks for your help mate.
Any opportunity to get free advertising is a good one, since it links you into networks you might not be able to approach by yourself. My advice would be to compile a database of current free ads sites and get an automatic submissions program. Also, carefully track when those ads expire, how they perform, and other metric analyses to tailor your approaches to reaping unique, targeted traffic (which brings willing customers looking for YOU).
I love usfreeads and here is why. If you sign up you have to become paid its the best way to go. Now when you go to write a ad pick a main keyword. If you use this keyword in a H1 tag and bold it once in your ad I can almost bet your ad will be on page 1 in google in about 3 - 5 days for the keyword you picked (depending on your keyword). I know I can get my ads ranked in google on page 1 for keywords that have over a million sites listed. Also your best option is to buy a featured ad. They are cheap and VERY well worth the money. Even better is you can buy a redirect for a extra like $3 and it will have who ever clicks your ad go right to your page. I buy featured ads all the time for a whole year and it cost me about $50 (I have the max discount you can get). I made a lot of sales from this place, and even had people call me on the phone saying they saw my ad at usfreeads. I highly recommend this place.
Is USFreeads really still ranking high on Google? I have to say that I have never come across an ad on page 1 in my natural searches. Maybe it is the topics I search but I just don't see it. But I'm tempted to try.... How much is a featured ad on a Gold membership as opposed to a Platinum?
USfreeads is useful if you do: - use the paid option (membership) and even the featured - choose a keyword which has under 10,000 pages of competition at Google
USFree Ads is worth it but there are better options nowadays. Some of them are Squidoo, Hub Pages, and of course Ezine Articles is awesome still.
I target keywords that have under a million sites listed. If I really focus on my ad copy I can get my UsFreeAds ad to page 1 or 2 in google, and to me that means a ton of free traffic to my product. I guess though it all depends on what you promote and how many people are looking for it. I know it works good for me, and what I promote.
Hi if you have a keyword or phrase that has only 10,000 pages of competition then you certainly don't need usfreeads All you have to do is make sure that the keyword or phrase's has traffic and if it has then it would be quicker for you to get an organic page than a usfreeads ad link Yes you would have to make sure that your page was seo efficient and that is the way I would go if I had a keyword or phrase that had traffic and that little competition. However if there are no paying ads there it might be a sign that the phrase or keyword does not pay! But if you don't check it out you would never know.
all those free ads are worthless try blogging from word press that way your content stays fresh and your contact info is more noticeable I did use that free ad once never helped me
Hey guys, Interesting topic... I am planning a little experiment to test the effectiveness of usfreeads.com over on another thread - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=750229
I used it once or twice for backlinks...didn't see any noticable traffic, maybe 8 hits in a month but I didn't upgrade
I'm surprised Google didn't hit this service yet, looks like a prime candidate, especially after the link selling fiasco.
Thanks for the nice tips snotb4ll. Besides getting a targetted traffic, one can also get good backlinks from usfreeads which are loved by Google.
