youtube videos as always with phproxy aren't proxified, as i haven't done the youtube plugin yet...

did you have any other problems browsing elsewhere ? if you did, can you send me the url ?

 

Here I thought on my site they were. Learned something new.

 

yeah, youtube when when browsed with phproxy from an unblocked location will just load the videos directly from youtube and bypass the proxy altogether. there are solutions around for it though, which is why i haven't worried about that yet and have been focusing on myspace and other more general problems.

created a thread here to make tracking feedback and suggestions a bit easier...

 

Anyone know of any proxy listing sites that don't have the words "proxy","proxies", etc in there domain.
I've found 2 meoso.com and fortliberty.org. They actually send traffic.
I never put the word "proxy" on my sites. unfournantly even proxy.org..I use sometimes. The problem is the dang "proxy" in the domain it gets your site busted by filters when they scan it.

Well I don't think the word proxy once on the page is bad aslong is drowned out by more keywords. Its really in the density and trigger finger of the filter that scans the page.

yeah roughly around may(end)-june-july-august
most resume last week or august or sept.

They need to get that demo on a better server took over 40 seconds to load youtube even longer to load a video.

It took to load some sites about a minute

 

some questions :

1 - ssl proxies don't get blocked easy because :

a ) the domain can't be blocked

b ) the proxy can't be found by filters or admins

2 - why vtunnel.com is or was a successful proxy ?

3 - Why proxify.com can't be blocked ?

 

SSL connections can't even be seen by some filters. There is no evidence in the logs.

Also Vtunnel is a few years old mind you and came out when there was only few proxies. The market as since been saturated, proxies are a dime a dozen.

 

i think our main priority should be avoiding the filters

new proxies get blocked in some schools in 1 day, if today is launched will work then tomorrow will not work anymore .

Everyday we need to buy a new domain to satisfy all the users in this conditions

 

I need to go back in proxies...
