The site is not optimized for Adsense. That is why I wanted to find someone in the tea business who might be looking for a site to use for business purposes.
The Adsense revenue for this month are $17.76. But I am no expert on Adsense optimized sites.

The asking price is based on the amount of work that it took to compile generate all the content. It is also based on the number I'd be willing to let it go for. I'm not sure if you're asking something else so please let me know.

Like I said above. This is not just an Adsense site I'm looking to offload. I think someone could do well with it for Adsense but I am not that person. I'm most interested in anyone that would like to take it over for a tea related business.

Still seems high to me. The traffic is low.

My site got 5,815 uniques and 7,593 hits last month.

My adsense is at $26 bucks/mo and it's only 4 weeks old. Gazotto won't sell for 5 grand (though if anyone wants to PM me )

I think the price is high. But hey if you find a tea lover that is gonna buy it go for it.

Those are some impressive numbers indeed. I would imagine that there are a lot more people interested in your blog than in tea.

I know it is high from the point of view of pure adsense which is why I said what I said at the beginning. It really is for a tea lover or someone in the business of tea. Good luck with gazotto.com. I had a quick look though and it's looking good.

 

It is a very nice tempalte and layout. But not enough traffic or revenue to justify the price.

I really don't want this thread to turn into one about the site being too expensive compared to revenue.

For the last time. I know that it is high for an adsense site. The site was not designed solely for Adsense or Amazon or whatever. It was done as a content site with Adsense thrown in at the top like regular advertising to bring in a bit of money for hosting.

If anyone in the business is seriously interested in making a genuine offer, please PM me. If not, I'm happy to hold on to the site and continue to grow it for the time being.

 

You actually have a very nice website and looks like most if not all is original content. What CMS are you using, and is everything original content?

Only the news articles come from other sites because they are news and posted as they come up daily. Everything else was written for the site by a write from research.

PM me if you'd like details about CMS and so on. I'm not comfortable saying because of some recent security issues with CMS systems.

 

Like previously mentioned, this site has been way overvalued by you. Understand that people on this forum are interested in purchasing sites as a business, or as part of their current business model.

You are setting its value based on the labour and time you put into it. If this was a real life brick and mortar business, if you spend hundreds of hours building and advertising your newsagent shop, and it had no customers, made no money, do you think someone would buy it for the potential it could have?

I absolutely love tea, and would buy this as a novelty, but not for the price you are quoting. I would probably pay $2000 maximum. Let me know if you are interested.

I understand that people feel it is over priced. It makes sense for someone with an existing tea business that could use it to sell their goods. It would make sense as part of an existing model business model since it is a site that attracts genuine traffic since I don't run any tricks or non targeted seo traffic solely for adsense. It is a genuine site with real content and interested visitors.

As for your bricks and mortar analogy. I see where your coming from but venture capitalists invest in potential companies every day. So in that respect the answer to your question is yes.

Not only that, you are breaking the TOS of joomla, you are using their template and stripping their copyright. Unreal! Effort my ass, all you did was C&P someones content into a joomla template. Nice. I'll offer $5.00 FIRM.
