Sudden increase traffic from google?

Anyone here have sudden increase traffic from google? I haven't done anything particular in 6 days. But somehow, in the last 3 days, my traffic from google doubled, almost tripled.

I do not see any significant rise in traffic from google. May be, you two have got some special preferences from google?

People asked about the same sudden change in stats with theirs going in opposite direction so it may or may not be related to make it a more general issue.

I saw one of my sites rank for some keyword, but if you search on google with the gl=us parameter, the keyword are no here... my site is hosted in USA....

not really, maybe you just moved a serp. or a higher ranking site that used to steal your traffic got dropped and made you more visable

 

Lucky you are dude.. may be you got high in SERP so. well nothing special here.

 

Can you tell if its people traffic or bot traffic i do not notice anything in my stats it would be nice lol.

 

I think it's real people, because average pages/visit increased.

 

That is good opportunity if you did nothing but your traffic is increase.

I saw one of my sites gets more traffic.
It is a blog and google gives more importance to blogs recently.

 

We always get most of the traffic from google, then yahoo, live, digg. Recently we started to get traffic from Ask.com and it's increasing. Looks like ask.com got better algorithm.
