I can dedicate 4 to 5 hours a day towards reaching this goal. The problem is where do I start? I looked up at other similar posts but could not reach to a proper conclusion. An investment of $50 a month is what I have in mind. Achieving this target with a step-by-step procedure with links would be helpful. Thanks, - DMK
That depends on what area you are expertise on like sales & marketing, SEO, copywriting, web designing and development etc or you may be interested to start your own online business, without knowing that it is difficult to guide you properly.
No Sir, I'm not an expert in any of those. Just a keen learner with lots of interest. I was thinking of starting a website/forum/blogs and putting up ads. Later move into affiliate marketing as well. Do you think this would be a good idea? Could you please provide me some details on how to get started.
The best place to start is find out what you enjoy most, then you're on the right path! You can find more info on my signature link below, or just sent me a PM. I'll be glad to help
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=342882 Look at this. If it makes your head explode, copy it and save it until you have a little more experience. If you have 4 to 5 hours a day, try to get some simple jobs writing or posting in forums. It is easy to make $10 a day through that. As far as passive income goes, proxies aren't going to be a good thing to start now. It's summer and the kids are out of school. There goes half of your market. I would suggest making a list of your interests and then try to decide about which ones you would be able to write several articles about. Then look into some good domain names and try to get a good niche site with adsense going. I'm not an expert at this, so hopefully another webmaster here can help you on this front. What exactly do you want to do to get the money? Do you want to keep working or do you want to build sites?
If you are willing and able to do some basic research and article writing making $10 a day should really not be difficult at all.... As it is not clear how experienced you are online I've included links to a couple of downloads that have useful information....Hopefully they will stimulate some ideas in your own mind.... http://www.discountvault.com/Book.zip http://www.discountvault.com/BTC.exe Don't worry no cost to you.... Enjoy! Michael
I'd launch one new site every other week. Experiment and see what you like. Start a directory. Start a blog. Start a membership site. Start a proxy. Etc. Once you find out which one fits your work style, interests, and financial goals, pick that and scale it.
Since you say you are a keen learner with lots of interest, the first thing I'd recommend you do is to start learning about different ways to make money online, such as affiliate marketing and making money with a program like Google Adsense. Read articles, download all the free e-books you can.
Omg! thanks everyone for such great inputs. I'll spend sometime reading all the links provided. I guess I should start with article writing and then lauch a few sites/blogs. Btw, how do I look up at getting articles to write. Is there a directory or list of companies/people whom I can approach to get started? Currently, I can work for a while until I'm comfortable earning from my sites. In the long run I plan to make a living only from websites.
