I used to run a site a while back which was banned when i had sold it for using images next to ad's, now theres a chance i am trading it back.. i was planning to use valueclickmedia and similar ad networks, but i wondered once the site is banned? and sufficient changes are made so it obeys TOS can i use adsense on it again?? or is it a no go?
AdSense is a possibility again. They usually send a warning before they ban you for site content and if the recommendations in the warning are complied with they are happy for you to keep using the site. I would ask them just to be on the safe side - rather that than they take offense if they see you have taken the initiative.
is it true that sometimes google just ban a website without notice? i read some of this on other forums..
If it is a site specific ban (as opposed to an account ban) you can easily email them once you have removed what broke the TOS and they will reinstate it most of the time. That depends entirely on the nature of the TOS violation
ah i see.. thanks.. maybe the people who had this kind of issue just paniced and made this a big deal.. lols.
If they were clicking on their own ads and got caught, it would have been a ban without warning and those are usually the people that complain the most (yet do nothing about it other then post on forums)
I am sure its a site specific an that he is mentioning here rather than an account wide ban. They probably warned him to takke the ads off that site.
The same thing happened to me, I mailed them back.. and simply they told me there is no way I can get that site back in adsense. I just hate the fact that they never give second chances. Because they are the best way to make money from your site. They think they have the right to do anything they want. It's sucks
Well, I know they always lift the site specific ban for a site an unwitting buyer may get so you could always sell it to yourself or your company (if it is a legal entity different then the "original" owner). I have to say though, I am surprised they didn't allow the site back in when you removed whatever violated the TOS. That is one of the first cases I have heard of.
I'm even scared to email me them again, fearing that they might ban my whole adsense account. You live in fear when you have an adsense account
Yes, it ever happened to me when one of my blog using page generator (that generates your content automatically). then my webpage didnt indexed by google. at that time i was worried that my google adsense would be banned as well. But luckily i was safe.. just to share this with you here
No it wasn't that yfs1, it was simply because of images close to advert's and i didn't check my adsense email in time Well what do you think..? Seeing as the site was previously on my account, but then it was banned when it had moved to the new owners server..
I just recently got a site banned and there was no warnimg email whatsover. Crappy thing is I was in the process of getting the site reviewed by them when it happened..... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=236511
if adsense id was banned by google, it gonna be unlucky feeling you will face. but i think we might build relationship with google team and ask for their opinion if we have any doubt. __________________________ http://www.yesiloveit.com
it is also dangerous when someone is angry or insecure about you and they will click your ads continously until you get banned..
