selling ebooks how to??

hi, i have somemoney in my budget. (about 30usd)
and i want to learn more about selling ebooks.
ive recently found a site to download ebay ebooks, and you have the rights to resell them.
so,
there is a guide to do this?? i mean, when the payment by paypal is processed, a way to send automaticly the ebook to the email.

and what kind of ebooks are the most bought??
and if you know about software to create a good adwords campaign, it would be apreciated.

Basically - make sure you have proof about what you are selling.

 

Your budget is very low... do you have some ebooks for sale or do you still need to purchase them with your budget? The best way I would go is NOT with ebay (since there are sooo many people who sell them for dirt cheap). Do you have a niche site? If you do, I would look for a very high quality ebook that may interest your visitors and just advertise on your own site to earn revenue.

Once you have made a bit of money please go out and purchase a quality product. 99% of the e-books you're going to find for your price are so poor that customers will be dissatisfied. This is not your fault, but the better your product the more customers will come back!

In my experience, you can do a lot with very little. You can become an affiliate for free, set up a site for free, and start getting some traffic for free. Once you've made a few bucks, spedn it wisely and you'll be sorted.

 

Be careful there's a lot of crapy ebooks sold by many newbies out there

 

Yeah - i think its important to select the right product. If it doesn't have any value to you, chances are other people will find it worthless too.

 

But I was under the impression that selling e-books had failed as a business model, since very few people are comfortable reading onscreen?

 

I doubt that ebooks will ever fail as a business model.

people will always want instant access to things and ebooks provide that.

Hi - about a year ago I joined a website called planetsms.co.uk It's a paid forum (I think it was about £24.99 when I joined but he provides a website to start with and there are a ton of other freebies. Personally I've found the forum it's absolutely fantastic and very well populated. I didn't set up an ebook site but I've learned a bunch of stuff on there plus there's loads of ebooks available and other people have been quite successful. I think for advice alone it's well worth the money. Also once you have your basic site going that's when you can start going through the ebooks to discover the better ones - and most of all, write your own. That's where the profit is.

 

I think you need to find something very intrigung. Have it involve marketing / get rich quick / dating / sex / health. Something someone might feel strange buying at a book store, and something that someone will want to purchase instantaneously.

That is what I've had luck with at least. Make people really benefit from the instant gratification.

People come to your site to buy not too look for curiosity. If they come it means they willing to spend 24.99$ on an ebook about adsense. The rest if just good marketing.

 

I wrote a small ebook a few months ago and sold almost 1,000 copies right here on DP Forums..
of course the subject is perfectly targeted to DP Members, so if you have an ebook about fishtanks it would probably not do as well here..

I had three or four people try to sell that same ebook on their websites and via Adwords and they did not do well at all.
