    I have created a Gantt chart for one of my assignments. I have been requested to make two separate charts for a trade show that will be taking place at the end of the month. The first chart was used to help predict the time frame for specific jobs responsible for the setup of the show. I was aiming to be as realistic as possible with the amount of time I allocated. Jobs for this included planning the budget, booking space, setting up, making sure seating arrangements for complete. The second Gantt chart was for general advertising and promotion. This included tasks such as researching the audience, creating business cards, and promoting online. I am in need of feedback about my Gantt charts preferably from someone who specializes in International marketing to tell me how effective these charts can be and where to possibly improve on.

    Hi, I need some assistance for my uni assignment, any comments, references, or links will be helpful. The assignment is about writing a report on a promotional activity about a trade show and one of the questions is to seek feedback on these actions plan that I have created by posting a summary explanation of the plans down below.

    I have created a two-action plan for my promotional activities, one is a Gantt chart that required a schedule of what activities need to be done before the trade show, and another one is a brochure that would be part of the promotional activities during the tradeshow.

    For the Gantt Chart, I have created a schedule table and timeline showing the task name, dates, duration, and budget. First, the company will be planning who will be the manager or the team leader of these events. When the manager has been chosen, the manager needs to go through the business objective and do some research on the trade show. Even more, setting up the budget and schedule. When all the important research and scheduling is done, the manager needs to find and hire suitable staff to help with the trade show.

    The team will go through the marketing plan, getting potential clients by email and creating advertisements, and post them on social media. The booth needs to be prepared and plan out, so the team needs to order furniture and prepare displays, along with brochures, gifts, stock, product demonstration, and business sheets. The team needs to be in a role and each role has its own duties and responsibilities.

    The team needs to organize their logistics such as transport and hotels, as well as shipping their materials and booth equipment to the tradeshow. The team should arrive at the tradeshow before a week to set up the booth.

    For the brochure I have created a simple design that will easily grab the attendee’s attention, it will be a tri-fold brochure, the front cover will be a strong composition, a focal point showing the massive title and important subtitles, back it up with a nice alluring background photo. When you open the brochure, it will show a list of best products the company can offer, it will have photos of the product and description by its side with short and simple written text. The back of the brochure will show a description of the company details such as the team information, the location of the booth, and links to the company’s social media and website.

    It's funny because here in the U.S., 9/11 really devastated the trade show industry and now the virus shutdown has all but killed them. Yes, some will come back, but an awful lot more will not (just like restaurants.) It turns out that virtual conferences basically suck and I have cut back attending or sponsoring them, but it remains to be seen how many in-person trade shows will come back in 2022, if ever. Professor should update his/her curriculum to reflect modern times. A much more interesting trade show question would be what the trade show marketing team is going to do to get more participation in virtual conferences and/or to try to promote in-person conferences in the future.

    I am doing an assignment that requires me to make two action plans about attending an international trade show. The company I chose is Boost Juice and I plan to attend a USA trade show. First plan in Gantt chart is activities before trade show along with cost, and another one is promotion activity during trade show.

    Make your document landscape instead of portrait when there are so many columns and don't allow cells to span page breaks, same for the gantt chart and FFS rename the document so it doesn't have "template" in the filename.

    This is worthy of it's own episode of "Yes Minister"!

    I hope this is a "101" paper - Airfares, use upper case for the first letter on each line. Spell check. paper, not papper. There are easy ways to piss off your tutors and guarantee they don't take you seriously. Take a few minutes to prevent that.

    You should build in the time to select appropriate staff, train them, your hazard for the recruitment and training task is then the potential need to sack them, and start again. Your hazard for "promotion" is that something unpredictable, like a pandemic, sees them locked down and unable to travel or attend. Or a family emergency. Turning up with unsuitable team members is not an acceptable hazard.

    I know you're way behind the rest of your class but you must be able to see the stark difference between what you've presented and what your classmates are have shown us.

    Where's your timeline?
    Where are your costings?
    Your staffing requirements?
    Your materials development (handouts, banners, t-shirts, business cards, samples)?

    Personally, I'm astounded that a mainstream brand like Blackmores would want to be associated with any tradeshow run by Alibaba - did you pick it or was it part of the assignment brief? Or is Alibaba accepted by big brands these days?
