Please take a read through my School's website. Constructive suggestions are welcome. http://www.stevesimon.us
I whould add some pics and maybe let the menu be vertical under the banner, also i whould remove the date and put it somewhere on the bottom with some more infos maybe, it seems to simple... You could also try to add a pic as background wich is repeating and put the text im a frame.
My first impression when I first arrive was it's a travel website. Maybe you can add categories like your school's history, achievement, how it rank compared to other schools... Maybe you can also consider changing the banner to capture and place a simple snapshot of your school. Just my suggestion...
Hi Simon, Here are my suggestions for your Florida Real Estate Site: 1. Try not to use "center" alignment. The standard alignment for web is left for it's the most readable. 2. Like others said, some photos of beautiful buildings can attract people to read your site. 3. Simple is good. If you are making money from the course, try to keep the site simple, but make the design a little more attractive than it's now. 4. Font size need to be bigger, please. I can't read what you are trying to say. 5. The colors seem to be not well match. Try to use white background if you could. The current color + the text size make my eyes stop working. If you think my review worth reading, please consider to help me out too and review my site Apmart Auctions by replying to this post: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=955366
Thanks to all that posted a reply. I will try to figure out what photos to add, as it seems that all have said pictures! I am a little afraid of a color change and or whole redo I do all of it myself, it takes me forever, and I don't want to lose the functionality of anything while just trying to change the look? The basic page was a Dreamweaver theme. I wonder if another dreamweaver theme could be slipped in seamlessly? You know how wordpress themes are changeable
My school is virtual, there is no brick and mortor to take a photo of The achievements are mine, as I have been an instructor for over twenty years, but the school is only a few months old... It is tough to figure what to do (anything considered misleading or fraudulent is a felony in Florida, because its a licensed real estate school)... Thanks for the thoughts and time you spent.
I took a look at your cars under $4,000, Neat site. Clean and attractive, I think I will go with the white background!
I agree with the guy saying you must remove the centered alignment. I also don't like much the fact that you use different fonts on the front page.
Way to white, add more pics to get the visitors attention. When i see a site like this i will quit it. so add pictures is the thing to do. Good luck
Sorry, but personally I find it uninteresting and boring to look at - heave it up a bit with eye-catchers, make people stay and not flee (hunted by chapters of pure text)
