rep points query.

    I have a question about rep points.

    There are times when someone reps me i get 1 point. and then when some other guy reps i get 5 points..the points i get are different..

    does it depend on the forum I am posting on??

    It mostly depends on who is giving you the reps. Some people have more rep giving power than others. And you'll get fewer rep points in areas like General Chat and the Underground.

    The last part is not actually true because you don't get ANY rep points in general chat, just grey rep allthough there was one occaision I got a green rep in general chat but normally you wont get any in general chat.
