    I had IBM Thinkpads always. I bought Lenovo 2 years ago that I still use but will never buy it again. It seems that chinese just cannot get the quality that US made thinkpads had. Don't get me wrong it is still probably better than most of other laptops but there is difference in keyboard and lcd quality. It also breaks...some plastic just fell off my nobebook :D Also wireless broke so I have to use pc-card wifi now ;)
    Anyway Lenovo will not see me anymore but good luck with yours :D

    Lenovo is the best!
    I currently own one from 16 months and its working better than the recent releases from other companies that my friends have used.
    Its a T2300e processor at 1.67GHz with 512MB DDR2 and intel 945g chipset. I was thinking of selling it but now I changed my mind. I have Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-76A...which one you got?

    I would say that Toshiba would made a better choice. Much lighter and I feel is more stylish.

    A good percentage of it goes bad in first year, battery will not charge, mother board gets silently burnt

    This is just a machine and every machine couldn't be best it could be lenovo or any other like HP, Sony etc ;)
