To get PR6, it takes some time. Unless you promove it heavily like Chris does, I have to guess that you are on an expired domain.

it's very possible then, that site can lose its PR. Big modifications of a site like that can hurt a lot. The niche is even different now.

I would wait and see if it keeps PR in the next update. I'm always careful.

I have many pr7 websites and pr8 to keep the website to pr6.But since the bid is $5.00 a year the risk is low.The site use to be a webhosting site.It presently has 6 pr7 backlinks that i know of and is Dmoz Listed.Google cached the site in 24 hours so google considers it a valueable website .It's there for 5 bux and page strength is 4 .

Well, as long as it gets new backlinks. Old backlinks probably won't be counted soon though. That's how G drops PR in expired domains. If you do well, even though you could lose PR in the next update, you will gain good PR eventually.

Time will tell, but good luck with yours and I hope to see do well with it!

Just wanted to say those who bid $1.00 when the minimum bid says $5.00 will be getting a refund. I know the script allows you to put your own bid but if you dont feel like paying $5.00 Please do not waste your time and mine by bidding :)

This is a new feature that has been introduced to bid directories. There is no requirement that links be permanent.

I suspect bids for annual listings will be lower than permanent listings, so this may actually be good for site owners with smaller advertising budgets. :)

Hoping to see more innovations in the future directories. Good Luck!

I usually wait until the launch is complete, but since I am here ....

Congratulations on your new bid directory. :)
