I bought one website from him as well. I am sure he is going to be the one who has sold to all DP members :)

So long as he keeps his act together....he has sites listed on sites all over the web.
I bid on one of his sites then found he had sold it to someone else at a considerably lower price a few days later on another Forum :D

All I know is that after complaining about no traffic, I started getting all this traffic from wierd places where people are paid to click on stuff, it was really wierd. I still haven't had but one person find me through the search engine, and that was google.be and the search was for "keywordsuggestions" all together, no space, and it was the name of one of the scripts on the site.

    Glad I only paid $100.

I had to take down my adsense because I was scared of the kind of clicks that started being generated mysteriously when I complained about no traffic after the purchase.

Definitely not willing to go off topic here, but I am always wondering why you (and other guys) don't just list it on ebay, and only announce ebay link on the forums. Must be so hard and time wasting to track number of forums.... And auctioning frenzy on ebay would surely drive the prices higher....

For me the answer would be, I'm not interested in supporting ebay with a link or profit.

Plus there is nothing but crap on there. Add the massive amount of fraud when it comes to PR, site traffic, etc and its nearly impossible to get a fair price.

That i agree with. But the auctioning mechanism seems to me much more effective than auctioning via forums, as far as the final price is concerned.

I don't trust anyone or anything they say on ebay...seen too many instances where people got burnt.
Websites seem to be one of the worst areas for fraud.

It's hard enough buying from people on these forums but at least we have some idea of the reputation of the sellers...for instance if yfs1 had a site for sale I would know straight away that everything is as it should be.
That goes for a lot of other people here as well.

Speaking of buying websites.....where is Fryman :D ...haven't noticed him around for ages, here or other forums.

I don't say buying from any random seller. Buy from people you know.

What's the difference if Ed sells through this forum, or just announces it here and sells on ebay. You still purchase from Ed you know from DP.

I agree to ArticleFactory. Just the bidding part is via ebay so that it's central, as it's impossible to consolidate all bids from all forums, on all the places.

I wouldn't use eBay to buy a site even if it was linked from here. I would rather bid in an open forum.

If seller use ebay.. this may cause site cost higher. Site sold in forums are advantage for buyers because the site is evaluated by the members of the forum not buy the buyer alone.
