Anyone else catch this today:

MXN Ltd., announced the acquisition of the highly coveted domain name PORN.COM for total consideration in excess of $9 Million USD.

Its going to talk them a while to get there money back.

 

This is the domain that got the $7 million bid at TRAFFIC, but didn't sell, right?

 

Thats a huge sum !!

Best part is, Porn.com is not even hosted on a dedicated server ..

I did hear about this sale and was surprised it didn't go for more.

 

Worth millions in usd revenue when handled by the right team, will have a very quick ROI

Why it that?
Simple folks who pay out 9 million USD are not your ordinary 'Joe in the Street' these guys will know what they are doing

 

It was actually only sold at 4-5 years revenue. Which is very cheap in the domain industry considering the branding power of this domain.

 

Saying Joe Blow would be very appropriate

anyways its a good Domain Name short and sweet and also highly searched

 

The domain is VERY VERY GOOD for SEO. and TRAFFIC as well.

Yes! It could reach #1 spot.. people can just randomly type it up (you know how some people are). VERY marketable too.. it's a huge industry, I'm not surprised that it was sold for so much.
