Actually the guy made even more of it if you take the law suit in account, $65 million damages law suit Cohen + $x million verisign (could be 10 million) + $14 million for the sale = $89 million total. Business.com was the record sale. So if you look at it at the way i described this sex.com made 11 times more
Business.com sold for $7.5M, sex.com sold for $14M. That makes sex twice as popular as work, or twice as expensive.
Odd CNN reports it as the big news yesterday, and says 12 mil, so what was it? Either way, it seems a bit extreme. Hell I bid on sex.net some time ago, and it only sold for like a grand.
Well, you have to understand that sex.com must get TONS of hits from people just typing that in. It is crazy and extreme but 14 mil would be great in my pockets. Skinny
True , just type the word and hit ctrl + enter and you are on the website . Any guesses on how many hits ? Regards
There was a documentery "The sex.com story" On TV Before. So much happend with that domain when it was first bough. And there was some stuff about bounty hunters and millions of pounds. Hmm all over a domain
