I am new to the Adsense Ads implementation and just finished placing some ads and link units into my site's pages. I am not sure if I've done a thurough job of placing them in the right areas for generating optimum revenue for my site, so I thought I'd ask everyone's opinions. My site's URL is www.motivation4life.com Thanks, Todd
Hi, The site looks very good. You have blended the AdSense ads well with your content. It seems that you can place one more ad unit. Since the medium rectangle ads tend to perform better than other sizes, you may want to place it within the main text body. In addition, you may want to try place small graphics next to your ads. Remember to add a clear border between the graphics and the ads. Check out this thread for information: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=17104 Hope that this helps.
Thank you kindly for your advice and thoughts. I will definitely look into implementing what you said. Thanks again, as every little bit helps!
Since the last time I asked for critique (about a week ago), I have changed a few things on my homepage and am wondering if my site still looks adsense profit worthy? For all you people who know a thing or two about Adsense placement, do mine seem to blend well enough and are they placed in optimal spots for high CTR? I would put the left block in the right side. Also don´t put a frame and change the colors of the ads to the same colors of the rest of the texts.
Well right now I have a horizontal link unit at the top, a sky scraper running down the left hand side, a large rectangle block on the right, as well as a leaderboard across the bottom. I don't see any "frames" around my ads, so not sure what you're referring to there. Does anyone else see this? Perhaps I am missing something! As well, when you say change the colors of the ads to match my text, are you talking about the yellow url headings at the bottom of the ads? Change those? Cuz otherwise the text of the ad body is white just like my site text.
you see the frames if you check the website with Firefox consider that firefox (in italy) has more or less 10% of the market and maybe in U.S. much more i would also advice to remove the frames for a better google adsense optimization fabio
Man, I had no idea about my frames showing with Firefox. They are my table borders that must be showing with Firefox even though I have made the borders the same color as my website background. Can somebody else confirm this for me...that they see frames on my website when using Firefox? If my table borders are still showing up, can someone suggest a way for me to hide that?
Ok, I've made my border elements set to 0, so hopefully they don't show up in Firefox anymore. Can someone using Firefox confirm this for me? My URL is w w w.motivation4life.com
