Hello, We are in the process of making a new look for the main site. This is the beta site . Current site is at iScripts.com From both usability perspective and design perspective what do you think about the new design. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Be critical as possible Aji
The new design is definitely a nice step up from the current one! It is simple and elegant, yet it still has some color to it and not as much dead white space. I think it had to do with that new blueish thing at the top that gave it some contrast. Still, I think that big blueish area at the top has dead space and can be improved upon or dropped completely. I think both sites look clean and are easy to navigate. I think I like the logo in the beta site better. I also like that the "live chat" is in plain site in the beta site. RJ
Hey there, I like the Beta look, however it fails to impress me, it looks like every other "template based" website out there. I would certainly introduce a few more colours and get round to looking at new dynamic ways of showing your advertising schemes and product information. A few modern shapes wouldnt go a miss, and experiment with other colours and knock the Matt look on the head. All the best
new beta design is looking better than the live one. Logo gives more professional look. It looks better to find info about your company and login placeholder instead of just a banner in upper right corner. As we come down, usage of blue color makes some contrast avoiding the monotony of white color. One thing that looks a bit orphan is search box as compared to the previous one.
I like the new beta design for the following reasons 1)Nice design and layout. 2)The logo is more professional. 3)The icon live chat is good. 4)Stylish Design for the links on the right side. 5)Very easy to navigate.... But i would like to give cool color to a portion thats below the menu bar.Other than i really appreciate your effort.Thanks.
the newer one is better, but seems more finished as the other one. However you could work on the header a bit more. What's with the lady (just a friendly face?) might not zoom in so much on the lady. That's my opinion
Very nice, clean layout. It would be almost perfect if you would change your logo - look at contests on DigitalPoint section - for $20 you could get a really professional logo. Good luck with your business.
The two design are different in the header section . It is obviously the new design is better than current design . The body section is excellent too .

I agree that the blueish area is kind of waste space.we are tossing around ideas on how to use it well, as its a prime real estate. easiest plan was to use a small flash with product screen shots etc, but I am trying to stay away from flash or javascripts. I thing i will try out a new logo from DP contests too. Thanks, Aji
I really like the new design but there are aspects of the old that are still very professional such as the drop down menu. Kinda hard to decide but I think the new design is awesome.
That new design is so much better. The old design looks like a 90s template which every site had back then.
