What do you think of my soon to be $8000 website?

I just started my blog about a week ago. Actually it is less than a week -- this Sunday would be a week.

I wanted to get some feedback what people think of it, and if it could be improved?

Also, if anyone knows of a good comment plugin then let me know... I know that is one aspect that could be improved.

Hi Josh,

I'm not a design expert at all, but I know that what stood out to me when I initially clicked on your site is that there was too much white. There wasn't enough contrast between white and maybe at least one other color to make it more visually appealing.

The design isn't bad but I agree with ryanjohn23 I think you should
add more colors into the color scheme there is too much white.

 

Doest look a good design to me. Add some colors and reduce the font size of text. It looking some type of note-pad. Simply white background and you are writing on it. Make it more attractive.

 

That drastically needs extra colour adding as the white is way too much,is the $8000 a figure you plucked out of the air ???

A dramatic change in the design needs to be applied,

Tho you have the structure and layout okay,

I dont like the font, or the size of the main text

Good site though, and with a bit of tweakings, can be worth alot,

 

I just edited that exact template for a costumer. And yeah, too much white. Try to do some twekas at CSS (master) and good luck

You had posted a meaningful articles which was very impressive..But when coming to design,it is incomplete.Attractive Color schemes and good layout forms a professional design i think so..It would be really appreciatable if you work on that.Good luck!Thanks.

Oh WoW! I think I might add some color to it

The color background I added did spice up the design some. However, I wonder if it is the best choice of color?

As for the font, I can just use different font when I write my posts from now on. What do you all suggest for a decent font face and size for the theme I have on my blog?

The $8000 figure is ideal goal I have set myself. My mentor, Alex Jeffreys, made right at $88,000 for his first product in his first year. Alex Jeffreys now makes over $20,000 per month. I am merely modeling my business from his success and with his guidance, and therefore I have set myself the goal of $8000 per month.

So whilst I am not making $8000 per month yet, it is an achievable goal and it is not taken from thin air. Maybe I could explain that better on my site. Sorry for the confusion.

 

More colour and not so much content on the home page

The concept is nice and I hope you attain the self imposed goal.

As all the others have mentioned, the huge amount of white really glares into the eyes.

So, one thing at a time and you got it right. Nice site, though.

 

I advise you to colour post titles font. A little bit of colour wont do any harm, and could help to improve your layout.

Anyway, nice and clean layout, good luck with your blog!

 

I think the webiste hasnt got enough colour in it, also you have to scroll a long way down. These may annoy people. Cheers

 

The menus on the right are simple and nice .
The design should be more colorful .
