Hi, I am thinking of selling my domain www.digital-pod.com so could someone please appraise it, it has been registered since 16/08/2006 not alot of time unfotunatly.

Someone can use the domain for alot of things, you could host a forum that has a technology/digital genre. I liked this name because from pod I felt that the word pod was very digital and modern if you know what I mean. Someone could host a shop that sold gadgets/ boys toys etc. So thankyou for your appraisals.

Its not worth any more than the reg fee. I am suprised you are selling it so soon after this thread.

I may not sell it, I will most likely keep it for a few years and se how much it is worth then.

You can't even sell .co.uk domains within 60 days. I'd check for .com's if I were you.

Nothing about that domain strikes me as great so it's probably worth the reg fee.

POD stand for Proof of Delivery. That signature you place on a courier's PDA-like unit. With our courier account we can download the signatures from the website as proof of delivery. Digital POD replaced the pen and paper crap solution still used by Royal Shite Mail.

Yeah, I signed one the other day. Pretty cool. The screen was scratched to bits though, the guy had lost the stylus and just gave me a biro. Don't think he quite understood how it worked.

    Domain Value: Low $xx
Why: Because of the fact that firstly, this domain name contains a Hyphen, so that deterioates the value.
Development Idea: You could make this website branded into an online shopping portal for ipods maybe? Or you could try making an iPod community, maybe you can also make a Pod image, and make it have a binary look and develop the website into a code discussion community.
Selling advice: Your domain will not get good value right now, set up at least a functional website before attempting to sell it. Also, if you are wanting to sell, sell this at forums, it might work.

I heard on TV last night that Apple is trying to protect the word pod claiming trademark infringment on i-pod.
