Hello all, I have a page that was in 1st 10 in Google SERPs. As of today it vanished from results. Could someone please help me understand the cause? This is the page: http://theaterathome.blogspot.com/2005/10/sanyo-plv-z4-review-roundup.html Cheers, Mike
It has never been in there in the first place other than for a couple of days under recent posts. Do you think quoting from original source may be a problem? Cheers!
Tried copyscape - comes up with 3 results - 1) one of the originals, 2) someone who copied the full article, and 3) another blog that has a similar post quoting the same paragraph but it is serps. Difference is that I am quoting 4 different articles ( from different sources ) whereas the other blog just does one. Would that be a factor? Cheers!
Firstly I would consider moving away from a blogspot blog, you cant redirect them - so the linking you do will be wasted if you move to a new domain later. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=36070
Design Agent, Thanks for you time and for bringing that up! Blogspot hosting is my pain from the day I realized that an experiment is turning into a real deal. I think I ll take the penalty and move off of blogspot. Just do not know/decided what would be right - redirect or link from each post. I think moving content of pages and put a redirect instead. Back to the original question. It just struck me that I have updated the post in question with additional link without modifying the post date/time not to screw with archived pages. This is probably what caused google to drop. Yet unsure. Cheers!
