Optimization now there is a word. But why does it seem Google does not like it?

I built a site three months ago on the subject of optimization. Not optimisation but optimization. The domain name contained the word optimization so did the site. It never got into Google. I did the same as I normally do but hey it never worked. I figured maybe the domain was black listed or some thing before I got it. So after all this time I bought another domain. Took me a while but I fond a hand reg that will fit the task I want it for. I have only had it working for a week but once again no love from Google. Do they not like the word optimization?

A week is a short time but I can normally get a site indexed in a couple of days. So this seems strange.

It could be that the 'sandbox' effect is in action. It could take a few more months before Google recognises this site. SEO and optimization is becoming very popular in a very short space of time and so there will be many new sites under the key word optimization. Google needs to be sure about all of these sites and so it checks them over a period of time, i hope this helps.

Please keep us all updated on how this goes.

    thanks, tony

if your site appears in google as indexed, then all you need to do is to get some quality backlinks or your site and wait for your reward in a couple of months, as Trimmer said, for the words "optimization" and "seo" is a lot of fight going on, so if I were you i would concern about my content (it need to be original and focused on those words)

Good Luck ! (coz' you will need it);)

You are drawing conclusion out of weird places. What do you mean by saying google doesn't like the word optimization? As far as google is concerned, it could be anything. If I understood your problem correctly, the site hasn't been inndexed. Now here's a quick question to you: are there any backlinks that would make you expect that?

The above is the thread I'm going with now this one was a double post as the site seemed to go down!

@ Earnest01 - Dont understand how I am drawing conclusions from weird places. I am assuming that there is something wrong with the word optimization based on the evidence that I have had over 100 sites indexed in Google within a week (7 days) (The sites that have been indexed are over a period of time I didn't build 100 sites in 7 days! ) and now two sites where the domain name contains the term "optimization" are not getting indexed. I also said seem Google does not like it. I didnt state a fact.

I am not a stats expert or a web expert but to me that evidence suggests there could be something wrong with the word optimization especially when all the other parameters are basically the same. Site design techniques the same, hosting company the same, inbound link sources the same etc.

I am NOT saying that Google will not index a site with the word optimization that has been suggested on the other thread but that maybe they take longer. I have now had replies / PM's that also suggest that. That is the reason I posted the question here to try and give me some more evidence to what I was thinking. That way I am trying to get as far away as possible from drawing conclusions from strange places.

With the second domain that I purchased I built the site and submitted it in one day, the same day I built another site, that one was on a particular car. The car site got indexed in 3 days the optimization one still has not.

@ maineexista - appreciate the advice but its not indexed at the moment.

@ moneybomb- I normally add a link to a site that is crawled often. Google will then pick the site up and index it. Until now this has always worked for me and worked quickly. i also own a few directories so I add the sites to them and they get indexed quick time. if your going to use a directory your need to make sure that the site is approved, not point it sitting there waiting for approval. Thats why I built a couple of my own.

Like I say guys I am far from an expert, only been doing this sort of stuff a couple of years and feel like I have just touched the surface half the time but it does seem strange that i can get lots of sites indexed and the two with a common word in the domain name does not get indexed.
