    Google is updating backlinks and you can probably expect flucuations until the tool bar update in a couple of weeks.

    When you buy an expired domain you should make sure you have money left over to purchase some good site-wide links and some quality directory listings.

    I never knew it was an expired domain. Even now I'm not sure whether it is an expired domain name or not. How can I find that out? Is there any script / program for that? Thanks

    Few things,

    - Never buy a domain/sites when just 1 month of a pagerank/backlink update is left.
    - Once a site or domain is brought, don't just relax or sleep thinking you are done. Its time for you to start doing link building for it.

    ^^ Do both the above things and pagerank must not affect you. ;)

    I thought pagerank/backlink update was a continuous process, never knew it has specific time for that :(

    The seller is yet to transfer the domain to my name. Had some problem with Go Daddy. He says he is busy with his projects.
