-So i found the niche -Did the keyword seach (google keyword tool, google trends etc) -Found relevant affiliate products (clickbank) -Picked the domain name with keyword -Created the site (wordpress so i cud go either as a blog or a website) -Added content -Added affiliate links Whats the next step? How do i promote my site? How do i get traffic? How long do i have to wait to see some ROI? Can i use adsense along with affiliate links?
Well its wordpress so we'll go with blog, although i think the lines are blurred when it comes to wordpress. I am not selling anything,just providing relevant information about the niche with links to affiliate products
Next step I would take would be promoting your website. Work on your SEO and get into some social networks. Good SERPs and having friends on social networks who are interested in your niche will help you gain traffic. Make sure you're targeting a different keyword for every page of your website (or post if you're doing it in blog format). More targeted keywords (with good SERPs for each) means more traffic. There's no set time before you start seeing ROI. If you've picked some great products and can find people with money in their hands just dieing to get that product, you could see sales today. If your product is harder to sell or you have trouble finding the right customers, it could be months before your first sale. I'm not sure what your niche is, but I recommend staying away from promoting internet marketing products. Just from personal experience, if you're not there for the launch of the product then it's very hard to sell (because most products are crap). And yes, you can use affiliate links and Adsense together.
What is SERP? What about article submissions and stuff like that? how well do those work in relation to other traffic provies. If there was to be a list of ways to get traffic/increase your rankings in google, what would it be from highest provider to lowest
Don't underestimate the power of video (i.e. YouTube) for driving traffic to your site either. You can do a really simple screencapture video using Jing and upload it to YouTube. Put your keyword(s) in the title, description and tags and away you go.

If you have done all that is required to do well that is fine but my approach would be make it to be a website or create another website and leave that as a blog, get a lead capture page otherwise known as a squeeze page, sign with an autoresponder like Aweber and set up your one page website: Purpose to build your list which you can send your product infor to and make good sales. There are many traffic techniques that you can use. There is no "quickest". They all take some time. Article marketing is popular and will get you traffic, but it takes work. You can try commenting on blogs, forums. There is craigslist and free ad sites. Also social media is popular as well. If you have a budget you can try adwords. Learn some free traffic techniques and implement them. Over time you will see traffic.
What you should do next is: 1) Develope backlinks 2) Create Video and upload to Youtube 3) Write or hire writer to write few articles and sent to articles directories and also you can sign up for autoresponder and create a squeeze page to build list
Its seems that article writing is the best way to go, but i write articles for people and man...to write MORE articles for myself seems like a real pain. Guess a writer can outsource a writer too. lol
Of course SEO, article writing. youtube videos and backlinks are the best but that all takes time. The easiest is purchasing some adwords from google or using Adbrite to get some traffic to your pages. That you can do immediately while you wait for all the other things to fall into place.
