Alright guys, how are you squeezing out the max $/click with YPN? Are you allowing the ads to show up naturally, or are you selecting a category? What category and sub-categories are working best for you and what have your payouts been per click this month?
Why wouldn't they? There is no direct competition here. The number of YPN publishers that: 1- visit this forum and 2 - will actually follow someone's exact setup is so small it is completely negligible. Look over on the adsense section, guys are talking about this all of the time.
Once people know certain category is paying xx$/click, people will just run to create website around that niche = Instant competition!
Also, remember that YPN has now started banning sites for non relevant traffic, and non conversions. So, you can no longer safely use targeting to just display the highest paying ad types. The new rule is, use targeting only if non targeting is showing totaly unrelated ads, pertaining to your content. For instance if you have a video game site, Don't target ads for realestate or insurance, unless you want to have your account dropped.
That is not true. http://www.ianag.com/arcade/ That site has their ad targetting toward "legal" ads. They have been doing it over many months now, and they havent gotten terminated yet
I am sure there are thousands of sites that are doing it, that havent been turned in yet, or ypn hasn't noticed them yet......... But that doesn't mean I am going to do it....... Non converting traffic from non relevant ads can get you banned, it's not worth doing it for more money. also read this old thread and all the follow-up posts: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=79754
It is true, and it makes sense. What kind of a publisher wants non-relevant ads on his/her site(s)? Non-relevant ads are seen as "spammy" by the typical web surfer, and I'm quite confident that the folks @ YPN are keenly aware of this. Furthermore, I'm quite confident that most clicks on ads being displayed on non-relevant sites don't convert. Yep. As always, IMO. AmCy
Alright, lets say this then. You don't have to tell us your niche...but what is your average $/click.
