Lets say I have a good article that I want to start my site off with. So how do i go about marketing this site? I tot about digg, but how should i go around doing everything together. ANyone has any suggestions ?
Don't market your site until you have more articles. Like 5 or 10. I you have just one article, people will come and leave your site because there is nothing else to view. When you have more articles, people will spend more time on your site.
Your blog design and your articles are good for Malaysia Travel Guide. I found a glitch when I clicked on Previous Articles (there is some kind of error). As for promoting a site, definitely wait until you've got a few articles (10 at least). If people like what you've written, they will look to see what else you've got. If there is nothing they will nt likely return. Are you talking about marketing your blog or some other site? Seems like you're on your way with the blog.
I agree. And also make sure you have 5 or so extra unpublished articles so you can add them into your site one at a time to keep visitors from coming back to your site.
Actually I am not refering to my Travel site, for the travel site, i actually asked for a full site review here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=324793 But it seems there's not much of a help (or traffic) in that sub forum! As for the error: there's a technical error with my server side ... trying to get it fixed. For the new site i am planning is actually related to men's topic. So I tried writing some top 10s stuffs, already got 2, I guess I should write a few more before i try to launch it. Thanks for all the replies. appreciate it.
