Not just information, but with proper guidance. *** General I started this site around 10 days ago, but it has been in planning stage for almost 2 months now. Right now the site is FAR from 100% functional, as I have only covered the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. But since this is the transportation hub of the nation, it should be where most tourist will end up to initially. All international flights stop at KL international airport. Thus the site right now consist nearly 150 pages, the target amt of pages of information I planned is around 1000+ upon completion, but it will probably take a while to finish up with the entire nation. SEO Do you have incoming links? I have submit link to directories when i feel that the site was already functional, and all directories have accepted. I have also sent out requests for link exchange with many blogs (Malaysia) but not much of travel related blogs. It is hard to get travel information site of Malaysia to link up as the anchor text i choose for mine is "Malaysia Travel Guide". What keywords are you targeting? right now - "Malaysia Travel Guide" , I could use a few more others. *Suggestions for travel sites?* Do you want your code reviewed for errors or improvements? Yes. Marketing Who is your target audience? International Tourist - for my travel information. Locals - who plan to go on trips within Malaysia Another specific group is those from neighbour country - Singapore, as their entry point to Malaysia is not Kuala Lumpur. Which means I have to have specific information for their needs. However I also planned to blog about Malaysia Travel news on the site upon near completion of travel information, to generate new contents. How important is usability? I want the users to be able to navigate easily as if they are using a book. hmm What is the purpose of the site? I already have some things that i want to improve on the current designs, hopefully be able to get to them once I get more information into the site. 1. Change the color of the hyperlinks. a. link to a brighter shade of blue, a. visited to a low red shade, and both underlined, I think this will increase the efficiency of navigation. 2. Change the banner to a image banner - But i have not much skills / knack / creativity to create a nice text banner, and this project site is suppose to function without any budget other than the domain purchase and server host.
