Hey guys. I'm working on a site where users can submit a link to their article, tutorial, freebies, interview or anything that has to do with photoshop via a form in order for it to be posted on my site. Go ahead and check it out: http://photoshop-r.com/ Don't forget to leave feedback ps. I know I need to design the header but ironically, my photoshop skills are nooblike. ;D
Great site. Flickr has given rise to "r" domain names. which is cool I love the psr Wordpress theme. Great for the type of site. If you need Tuts, checkout Envato site: PSDTUTS. Also, you can have an "Inspirational" category.
Nice site, there should be more places like this that bring together quality articles on Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver etc. What would be useful on your site once you get more content would be to break down your articles into categories for quick navigation - for example; tips, brushes, effects, design tutorials, stock photo sites etc.
Yer, I would like to see the web design more graphically complicated. The design you have now is great but in my opinion a website based around Photoshop should be more out there. Just because I've said this it doesn't mean simple sites are bad, PSDTUTS is a relatively simple design but when you look into it closely, it's very high detail. An other thing I would like to see on your site is thumbnails, I tend to like to see what I am clicking on. "A picture is worth a thousand words." Hope it helped a little.
Yeah I'll be adding thumbnails later on as well. Also, I'm already fetching tutorials from PSDTuts btw i created the theme from scratch, that's why it's missing quite a few things hehe
There are loads of photoshop blogs out there you can try! picking out contents from them! and adding them!
I like the design because of your use of the very Web 2.0 3D boxes. You have a very modern design there which is great because visitors will take your site seriously. There's nothing worse than going to a website design site, or something similar which is supposed to offer tips, when their website is terribly designed. How can people take a site seriously if it has a poor design? Nice work. Is there a reason why you posted two topics? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1411495
That is actually a good site.... i have checked it and its looks so good.. i will try a submission there.. some other time...
I'm flattered. However, personally I think the site is pretty mediocre though because I need some help with the logo and I have to finish the footer etc
