Hey guys. I'm working on a site where users can submit a link to their article, tutorial, freebies, interview or anything that has to do with photoshop via a form in order for it to be posted on my site. Go ahead and check it out: http://photoshop-r.com/ Don't forget to let me know what you think of the design/content ps. I know I need to design the header but ironically, my photoshop skills are nooblike. ;D
It's looking good so far. Good luck with thr site btw. The orange text imo, should be a sans serif font, it looks weird in a serif font. Maybe instead of having all of the tutorials etc everywhere, you should make headings "Tutorials" "Articles" "Freebies" etc. It would probably look less cluttered and you wont need to scroll down for ever
I agree with cheesy. the text logo doesn't look good to me.. the black background doesn't fit your site. make it look more professional. the footer looks empty. good luck
Yeah I still have to work on the footer etc. I need some help with the logo or look for some tutorials online cuz my photoshop skills are pretty bad hehehhe ps. the background of the content is transparent, not black
Hello. Its nice idea to share knowledge around everyone. Really like your idea. I hope thru your site tutorial starters like me can get some help. Nice work buddy. Best of luck and have a nice time.
I would think u could probably add little thumbnails beside each link so people can see what the link is about visually, it's usually more appealing to see than read. I also agree for the sans-serif fonts....u should keep everything the same as in sans-serif...more modern. Hope that helps.
I like the site, both the concept and the layout for the most part. I would suggest you have some kind of sitemap and perhaps start building categories before the site gets out of hand. Good luck with the site!
I think the design can be far better than it is right now. The site doen't look professional. It can be more visible. Specially the Link button are too bad for a professional website. Otherwise its not bad.
Is there a reason why you posted two identical topics in different forums? That's unnecessary, it seems. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1411490
