New Look And Changes Good Or Bad

Hello everyone.
Just wanted to say I love the new look of the forum.
As for some of the news rules I must say I understand the purpose but don't necessarily like them.

DP has been a source of very useful information on Internet Marketing the entire time Ive been at it. It is also home for many spammers and users pushing junk.

What I dont like is having to have 3 likes to post in some areas. It would nice to see those who have been here for years be given a pass on new requirements of 3 new likes for posting in the market place.

Thats my 2 cents.

What do you guys think?

 

I think the new change is for our benefit. With the new change, spammers will be lessened and those who really want to benefit from DP should post some informative posts that will help others. After all this is 'our' forum and we should put some efforts to make it the best forum online. This will thereby give the members a few likes too

 

How many more threads we going to make? I only dug up 2 because the water is boiling and I need a new cup of coffee to watch the Godfather on dvd.

Trust me, there is more than just a few threads created about the new look. All forums go through major changes every now and then to keep things current with new features that benefit the users as well as the moderators. This change was a few years in the making anyways.

 

I like the new look and the new rules to prevent spam and scammers even though I am one of the hunders who were affected for not being able to post on selected threads. lol.

 

I like the new look, though I probably haven't been here long enough to really miss the old one.

 

I think the look of DP is better than the previous one.

I am happy with it.

 

I like the 3 likes rule..

 

"3" likes... ufffffff! Had it been a facebook account, i would have uploaded a pretty girl pic and "likes" would have flocked in like anything. But this is DP

 

I miss the old look of Digital Point.

 

It is what it is and those are now the rules. You only need 2 more likes to get established. Not hard really, one new member on here created a thread. His opening post received 6 likes in only an hour. If he can do it then why can't you?

 

Don't worry.. You will forget the old DP (forever) after being an established member..

 

i remember the old look when i was visiting DP through the years looking for some info... the new look is really great!
