People usually charge high money for a whole-site based script like this one however i'm only looking for $25. If you don't want to make one right now, just buy it and get it for reserved for later maybe.

How customizable is it? What variables can be changed by you? By the owner afterwards?

Almost everything including file size limit, the file allowed, email owner.

The PHP files are open-source so it can be easily edited. (Easy code understanding)

    Looks good Kenni.

At what point is the file size limit checked? Is it during the upload process as soon as the limit is exceeded? Or, is it after the file has been uploaded and only before the file is written to the final output directory?

Most of these scripts don't test the file size until after the file has been uploaded into a temporary file/buffer and then they don't write the file if it is over the limit. I need to know if that's how yours is working.

If you are unsure, please don't just make up the answer ;)

Is it even possible to check the file size on the client side?

On the client side before the update even begins - no, I don't think so.

I know you can set the ftp settings on the account so that during the ftp upload if the limit is exceeded, the ftp aborts immediately. So, if the script is using ftp as the transport method, then it should be able to do it.

Using http to upload the file, I don't think there is any way to do it, but not sure, hence the question.

I haven't looked all that hard but I was shown a web based ftp client that had the functionality I need rolled into a web interface just not very customizeable and I'm looking for something I can integrate/customize completely.

It checks the file after the file has been uploaded.

Do you know if it would be possible to set a website like flickr.com even if imageshack.us rocks.

I'm not a good designer so I'm asking if anybody else could help me with this.

    Thanks,
